DIWAN: SWANA Futurisms

DIWAN: SWANA Futurisms is a curatorial project convened by Al-Adeeb around the futurism aesthetics of the SWANA — South/West Asia and North Africa — diaspora. It sits alongside her broader scholarly interest in a comparative study of Afrofuturism, Latinx futurism, and techno-orientalism, and in the diasporic imagination of other possible worlds.
